Description: The Heritage Press is known for their reprints of classic literature with lovely illustrative works from renowned artists and slipcases for each of the books. This edition of The Sea Wolf by Jack London was done in 1961 with illustrations from Fletcher Martin and has the original slipcase that matches the book as well as the original Sandglass Newsletter that accompanied the book for subscribers. Beginning with the condition of the book itself, the page edges are clean albeit slightly toned. The top edge is stained a lovely navy blue. There are some light stains/discolorations around the spine edge and top edges of the front panel. There are similar stains/discolorations around the spine edge of the rear panel. They are quite faint though, please refer to photos. The spine is slightly toned from sun exposure. No previous owner signatures or markings. Binding and hinges are in great shape. Slipcase: Scuffing from storage all along the edges and some lighting/sun leeching evident around the edges. Internals are toned. Joints are all intact. Refer to photos.
