Scuffing, sunning, and soiling to the boards. Edge-wear of bumps and scuffs to the boards, primarily at the head, tail, and corners. There's some chips and peeling along the spine, mostly at the head and tail, as well as some splitting along the joints of both boards. In spite of this, the boards don't seem to be in danger of detaching anytime soon. There's a previous owner's small bookplate on the front inside cover. Some of the pages have a little edge-wear, mainly at the corners. Light age-toning to the pages, with the binding still holding firm. A beautiful work of illustrated fine printing.
