The Original Dillon XL 650 Spent Primer Catcher Upgrade.

Description: Spent Primer Upgrade for the Dillon XL 650 Reloading Press Please read the ENTIRE auction before purchasing. The Original Spent Primer Upgrade for the Dillon XL650 reloading press. (introduced in 2009 anything else is just a copy) Anyone who reloads on a Dillon XL 650 press knows the issues with spent primers missing the stock spent primer cup and ending up all over the bench and floor. There are several jury-rigged fixes for this problem or you can easily make your own system like this, but with this setup I have done all the work for you so this auction is for the guy (or gal) that just wants a simple bolt on fix. To achieve the full benefits of this upgrade it does require a Dillon Strong Mount (If you do not have a strong mount see my other auctions for the Non Strong Mount Version) you will also have to drill 3 small holes in the side of your mount for the spent primer cup to clip to. With this setup you also never have to worry about the spent primer cup over flowing and jamming the system because you can see when it needs to be emptied. The new spent primer cup also hold 3 times as much (by volume) over the stock cup. This upgrade creates a closed spent primer system so there is is no way for the spent primers to exit the system and end up all over the floor or bench.This system uses a Funnel turned from billet aluminum and mounts using an ABS Plastic Bracket, as the case is deprimed the spent primer will fall through the platform directly into the funnel and then be passed through the tube down to the new spent primer cup mounted to your strong mount.
