Illustrated by J. Lockwood Kipling. Wear to covers with rubbing, bumping and wear at edges including spines and corners, spine (reglued) still tight with all pages fanning easily. A little soiling to the front and back covers with a white mark on the front cover at the top (see pics), gilt bright to top edge as is common for a first edition. A couple of small cracks to the inside rear hinge (see pics) and a tiny reglued crack to the top inside hinge (see pics). Minor sporadic foxing throughout the book, some paper loss to the first blank page (see pic) with a little finger curling to the edge (see pics) but still a very nice copy. Book cocked a bit to the right. All plates in good condition. The Jungle Book: 303 pp. with illustrations. age toning and foxing to the interior and page edges, with spine tight and all pages fanning easily. Highly collectible!
