Hint of toning to pages with one visible dog-ear, else interior is immaculate, with crisp pages free of foxing, stains, or tears. Binding is excellent, showing no splits, and hinges remain sound. Jacket in good condition with minor deterioration to extremities and the occasional smudge. Jacket clipped with price remaining, and has been housed in an archival sleeve. Dedication page signed in thick blue marker by Reed with short inscription and rarely seen drawing. A lovely and bright copy overall, stated first edition.
