Author Biography All data is from the Mannheim Centre for Social Research (MZES), a body affiliated to the University of Mannheim, Germany, and one of the leading social research institutes in the world. FRANZ ROTHENBACHER is a sociologist at MZES. His working fields comprise demographic and family change in Europe and European social and family reporting.
