Description: "The Edgar" Antique 1890's Tin Hand Crank Nutmeg Grater Farmhouse Decor 5 1/4" 5 1/4” x 1 1/2” x 5” 2.6 oz Antique nutmeg grater with two wooden knobs and a tin body. Engraved in the face of the grinder likely is: "The Edgar", "Pat. Nov. 11, 1891", "Nov.10, 1896" I'm having trouble making this out on the piece but it's what's engraved in all other exact pieces I've seen. It moves back and forth in the way it's meant to. I didn't try to grate any nutmeg in it but it might still work as intended. I'm selling it as decor. It would look great as a piece of decor in a farmhouse setting. There is extensive wear and rusting. Please see pictures for condition detail.
