Description: "This book was published on the occasion of an exhibition at the Renwick Gallery of the National Collection of Fine Arts, Smithsonian Institution , Washington D.C. August 1- November 16, 1975". "Raymond Loewy practiced design for sixty-seven years and was a native of France. At 15 years of age he designed a model airplane, registered its patent, formed a corporation to make it, and hired a salesman to sell the finished product. Transportation continued to claim his interest, but it was only one of the many areas to which he turned his attention..." Interesting book is in overall good condition with minor front cover discoloring from age. I'm including a cancelled check and letter that was found between the pages of the book. Item is an estate sale find. Note: I try to minimize the environmental impact and save on shipping costs by reusing good and sturdy shipping packaging. Message me if you have any questions or concerns and I will endeavor to answer you promptly. Don't forget to check out my other listings. Thank you for looking. Have a blessed day.
