Contains several pages of advertisements including for Schweppes Soda Water and Ginger Ale, Rod Lindt Fils Chocolate. Back has an ad for Thornton-Smith. Wightman Mountain and Andrews, Ltd. Printers. W. Somerset Maugham's play Penelope was first produced at the Comedy Theatre in 1909 with Marie Tempest and Graham Browne as leads. He wrote the play in 1908 and originally titled it "Man and Wife." Known as the Comedy Theatre until 2011, it is still operational as the Harold Pinter Theatre. It opened originally in 1881. Condition: Item is an antique pre-loved piece of ephemera.
