Loose but fully attached on two other volumes. Some wear to the covers, and some tears on the first 3 pages of Volume 9. Otherwise the interiors are in very good condition, though have some fading and light staining from age. Gold gilded page edges looks even better than in pics. These books are very heavy (70 pounds).
