Her life and that of her husband has been an inspiration and encouragementto this quartet. Eileen's impact on our lives was one of great spiritual uplifting. She was a servant of "My Best Friend", the Lord JesusChrist and witnessed of His sustaining love and power in her own life during her battle with cancer. Eileen beat the odds and surprised herdoctors when she lived eighteen months with the dreaded disease, believing the Lord extended her life in order to let her witness for Him -- - and witness she did!! To each of us and in churches in East Tennessee and North Carolina, Eileen spoke of God's grace and power.At our last meeting, while lying in a hospital bed, Eileen spoke these words of faith, "Whatever HE wants -- I'm ready!" Praise Godfor such a peaceful and loving heart!
