In the 11th episode of the first season entitled "The Pancake Batter Anomaly," Raj (Kunal Nayyar), Leonard (Johnny Galecki), and Howard avoid a sick Sheldon (Jim Parsons) by watching a Planet of the Apes marathon at the movie theater. To their disappointment, the theater is full of mask-wearing fans. This mask is a back up mask from the costume department of the show for the Hero characters as seen in the screen shots. I already sold th Hero Screen Used masks for Howard, Raj and Leonard on the propstore website and now selling the back ups in my ebay store. The Hero Masks sold for thousands of dollars but you can get a production used mask as a back up for the main cast here for a reasonable price. These masks came in the same lot as the Hero masks. Like all productions back up wardrobe and costumes are always on hand in case of wardrobe malfunction, accidents, damage etc. Since this show was filmed in front of a LIVE Audience it is essential even more so to have back up wardrobe for the cast. Although this mask was NOT worn on screen, it is guaranteed from the Big Bang Theory costume department and used in Production for back up in Planet of the Apes movie marathon mask scene. The masks are latex rubber with fake hair. A great quality mask. Makes a great gift. In excellent shape. Comes with a COA Certificate of Authenticity as PRODUCTION USED.
