What is the story behind this gigantic listing? So, I received this book back in 2006--I likely took a quick look at it & put it in a box, never to see it again until recently during a move. DANG! I've never enjoyed it, now maybe you can! This entire package is huge, weighing nearly 10lbs! THE BEATLES IN INDIA is signed by author, meaning that the book comes that way, Paul Saltzman & is a limited edition, #608/1968. Sorry folks, pics are a bit light--we had to use a flash--we still don't have a black cloud of doom filter on our camera. Book is in GOOD CONDITION. Although never enjoyed proper, there is minor wear to the piece. Several of the vellum pages have separated; There is minor corner wear to the clamshell outer; shell corners have light discoloration areas to the fabric; when disks are lifted, imprint! Super nice orange hardcover fabric w/gold embossment; huge clamshell box, 18"x5"x14", encases hardcover, hand-bound book, yellow hard cover, 14.5"x11", 105pp including 69 color pics; 12 copper & 5 vellum pp(separated); 28 mehndi designs. There's even a chocolate-colored, satiny ribbon that pulls out the book, hands-free. Could there possibly be more? YES!
