Description: The Beatles Please Please Me CSJ-273 (Cover) - CSJ-34 Vinyl (Label) 12" Taiwan Red Vinyl LP VERY RARE.The cover is Please Please Me with A Hard Day's Night Vinyl Record. The vinyl looks pretty great for its age. I play Graded it, and it sounded great. There were a couple crackles and pops, as is probably to be expected, given the age and where it was made. It has been cleaned. There were only a couple of noticeable marks that I could see. I played the songs and, really, they sounded just fine. The record sleeve is in very good condition. It has a plastic covering outside and inside. The album paper sleeve is still very presentable.NOTES: I don't know why all these errors, tawain?1. The cover shows CSJ-273 (Blackout in front of Cover number?) and the record label is CSJ-34. 2. The cover is different than the vinyl record. A Hard Day's Night is the third studio album by the English rock band the Beatles, released on 10 July 1964 by Parlophone, with side one containing songs from the soundtrack to their film of the same name. The American version of the album was released two weeks earlier, on 26 June 1964 by United Artists Records, with a different track listing that included selections from George Martin's film score. In contrast to the Beatles' first two albums, all 13 tracks on A Hard Day's Night were written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney, showcasing the development of their songwriting partnership. The album includes the song "A Hard Day's Night", with its distinctive opening chord, and "Can't Buy Me Love", both transatlantic number-one singles for the band. Several of the songs feature George Harrison playing a Rickenbacker 12-string electric guitar, a sound that was influential on the Byrds and other groups in the emerging folk rock and jangle pop genres. Those cut-outs and hole punches in a record covers - why did they do it? In the recording industry, a cut-out refers to a deeply-discounted or remaindered copy of an LP, cassette tape, Compact Disc, or other item. When LPs were the primary medium for distribution or recording, manufacturers would physically cut the corner, punch a hole, or add a notch to the spine of the jacket of unsold records returned from retailers; these "cut-outs" might then be re-sold to record retailers or other sales outlets for sale at a discounted price.
