Three songs, by country music artists Lyle Lovett and Patty Loveless and contemporary Christian artist Steven Curtis Chapman, were recorded especially for the film.The soundtrack won the 1998 Grammy Award for Best Southern, Country, or Bluegrass Gospel Album.
