This humbucker set is voiced to be a little hotter and fatter than you would typically find in vintage style humbuckers. The neck at 7.9K is a bit fuller sounding but still is much more under control and firmer than most neck humbuckers and holds up well through higher gain amp settings with having a punchy presence. The bridge at 9.8K is more aggressive than 50s-style models, but without the compression of most high gain pickups making this is perfect for replicating those legendary 70s arena rock tones. These feature 42AWG Plain Enamel Copper wire, a shielded, four-conductor wiring for series, parallel, or split-coil operation, nickel-plated pole pieces, nickel slugs, maple spacers and is fully wax potted to eliminate any chance of microphonic feedback and a nickel silver baseplate. Ideally wired with 500k pots for great high-end cut or you could use other types for your preference. This pickup set is great for playing a wide range of music styles including heavy blues, classic rock, metal, southern rock and hard rock. Pole spacing is 49.2mm. These are made to compete with it's Seymour Duncan counterpart. So why spend a high price for something with a branding attached to it when you can get that same great sound from this awesome set.
