T.G Green Cornish Ware Rolling Pin No Handles Blue White

Description: A beautiful vintage Cornishware rolling pin by T G Green & Co Limited. No handles Early 20th century Rolling Pin, This rolling pin is marked at one end T.G.Green & Co. Ltd. and “Made in England”, which is great most of the ceramic pins were not marked The ceramic surface is in excellent condition with very minimal crazing, - there looks to be a slight misglaze in one end or it’s a very very tiny chip - hard to tell. T.G. Green was founded by Thomas Goodwin Green back in 1864. One of the company’s most popular lines was always Cornishware, which was first produced in 1924. It was created using a lathe-turning technique that scraped blue slip away from its white ceramic base to reveal bands of clay beneath. You can feel the ridges on this one.
