Description: This is an original 1927 4th Edition hardcover copy of "Textbook of Materia Medica," written by A. S. Blumgarten and published by The Macmillan Company. The topics discussed can be seen on the contents pages in my 9th through 11th photos. The copy being offered is in fair vintage condition overall. As you'll see in my first five photos, the covers have noticeable wear, particularly in the corners and at the top and bottom of the spine, where some fraying occurs. There is a lot of writing and marking inside both the front and back covers (shown in my 6th and final photos), and more writing/marking occurs on a few other pages. While the pages are mostly clean & crisp, they have noticeably darkened with age (particularly along the page edges) and have an old-paper smell, and occasional stains, smudges, and dog-ear creases occur. The binding remains strong.
