Generally speaking, farm roads are east of Austin, and ranch roads are west. This one is located in Washington County, and passes near the Washington-on-the-Brazos State Historic Site. An original of these is very rare to find scrapped; most of them enjoy their active service on the highway and the side streets. So here is your chance to own an excellent display piece, without chancing a run-in with the Texas Rangers. The sign is 16 by 16 inches, and weighs 6 lb. 8 oz. This is a high quality, heavy steel sign. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality. No cheap tin to be found here, with the wrong fonts, layouts, size, shape, or any other manner of embarrassing imperfection.
