Description: Beautiful Weno formation gryphea species oyster plate, naturally bright red and highly polished on the display side! Makes a great foreground for a display of ammonites, echinoids, or other fossils in your collection. I collected this plate in 2024 from an unnamed stream running through a construction site off of McPherson in southwest Fort Worth Texas. The plate is more of a yellow/tan under nm 365 UV light, which is interesting in contrast to the natural bright red. I cut this plate with my diamond saw and Mercer Brugler of fossilfactory.net polished it for me in a 3-part vibralap process. It’s beautiful! Length: 4 inches Weight: 8.8 ounces I will provide a partial refund if savings exist due to combining items. Dfwfossils.com
