Description: This Dewalt DCST 972 Power Head is for their string trimmers and edgers. It might work with other things, but I don't know. It was bought as part of their edger (that attachment is available in a different listing). This includes ONLY the power head, which I just tested (battery NOT included, nor is the trimming attachment) and it works just dandy. Selling because while these are nice for homeowners (I use a different one myself to keep the grass and weeds down in my paths around the homestead), these were purchased for a professional landscaper- and battery-operated landscaping tools just aren't practical for such uses. This is dirty, but as mentioned, it's functional. It wasn't really used much at all, unfortunately (for us!).
