This copy is inscribed and signed by the suthor on the free title page, dated September 1, 1939 (curiously, the date of Germany's invasion of Poland). This edition includes "Penrod", "Penrod and Sam" and "Penrod Jashber", illustrated by Gordon Grant. Condition of this book is Very Good Minus, showing wear to the corners and spine extremities. There is a 2" tear at the upper front spine gutter, and the front hinge is weakened, but still holding. Please see photos for condition. No dust jacket.
