Description: Lovely copy of the 1948 first edition, third printing of the Tarbell Course in Magic, volume 5, by master magician Harlan Tarbell, published by Famous Publications. The dustjacket has a bit of wear, with some torn edges and general shelfwear, but is it still fully intact and quite nice. See photos. The book itself is in excellent condition with barely any wear at all. A slight bump at the lower edge of the front board near the spine, where the cloth is torn for about 1cm. Otherwise simply beautiful, with crisp corners and edges, straight boards, string binding, and clean and bright pages throughout. Nice unblemished gold lettering. Lots of truly performance-level tricks inside, not one of those kids' books. A truly lovely copy of the rare original edition.
