It has adjustable straps that are padded with a breathable mesh to help keep the user cool throughout the day. A lot of revision and thought was put into the final plate carrier design we went with for Ktactical. This plate carrier does not have a side pouch for side plates. Many users do not actually use side plates and not having a pouch for side plates helps with ventilation and molle expansion. However, you can attach an admin pouch (not included) on the side to store side plates if desired. The modular design allows molle plenty of accessories to be added on the sides.
