Description: Here's a hard to find railroad china demitasse or after dinner cup and saucer in the Violets and Daisies pattern by Syracuse China. This pattern was used in the dining cars of the Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad trains. The date codes indicates manufacture in 1965 and 1971. The cup measures 2½ inches tall and 2¼ inches in diameter at the rim. The saucer is 4½ inches in diameter. The set weighs just over ½ pound before packaging. Both pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, nicks or cracks. They are marked on the bottom as shown.
