Description: This is the sweetest little wedding dress from the early 1940's. It's pure innocence. Light lace overlay covers, the tule skirt. The dress is lined in acetate. In my opinion very wearable condition. But please do read until the end to decide for yourself. The best and most surprising news is that the lace overlay is in good shape. I noticed a bit of deterioration at the bottom of the skirt in the back. I included a close up but it's not visible when the dress is photographed as a whole. The dress will need to be cleaned and starched to strengthen the shape of the lace. It's a bit too soft at the sleeves and as a part of the sweet heart neck line and is not keeping shape as intended. Tule skirt has one repair (included in a close up picture). It' s not visible when the dress is worn. Some of the seams by the metal zipper in the back of the dress are starting to come loose and will need to be reinforced or repaired. Also, one seam at the waist is also starting to loosen. Those are not visible when photographed but were noted during inspection and will need to be repaired prior to wearing to your big event. Acetate lining is in great shape other than minor discoloration due to age. Measurements when laid out flat are: Bust: 33 inches Waist: 24 inches Hips: 32 inches Length: 55 inches from top of the sleeve until hem I hope you will love this dress as much as I have.
