Description: * Here we have the Sutcliffe "Merlin" electric speedboat in its original box. * Made by Sutcliffe, Leeds, England. Produced c1965. * Cosmetically in great shape with minor paint loss by the tiller (photo 10) ~ removable engine cover to reveal battery compartment (photos 7 & 8);windscreen present (photo 9); rudder and propeller; Sutcliffe decal to bow clear (photo 11). It required two C size batteries (not included). Please note ~ the flag for the rear is missing and priced with this in mind. The model and it measures approximately ~ 12 inches long; 4.5 inches at its widest point.* Original Card Box ~ see photos 14-20 to assess. Illustrated box is in good condition with all flaps present. However there are numerous scuffs and a couple of small tears.
