Description: Based from the cover of Superman Special #1 "Behold The Ultimate Man!" which was released on newsstands in March of 1983. It tells the story of Superman having to save the world from a mad evolved creation known as "Ultimate Man" who creates disasters to delay Superman while evolving himself. This statue was sculpted by Tony Cipriano and recreates the work of artist Gil Kane. This piece was produced in a limited edition run of just 2200 units in 2006 by DC Direct. The statue has been in my collection for many years and is in mint condition. Its box is also in excellent condition and his has all its original packing material. Statue measures approximately 7 1/2" tall x 6 1/2" wide x 3" deep. Original box is also in excellent condition. This statue does not come with a Certificate of Authenticity but is numbered. #1655/2200 Own this great recreation from the Bronze Age Comics today!
