Description: This is an adorable vintage 50's ceramic treat/cookie/biscuit jar by Lipper and Mann. Made in Japan, it features a well dressed little bear family out for a stroll in their party attire. The lid has the baby bear's head sitting in the center of a ruffled collar. The rattan/wicker handle is bound with hot pink plastic lacing, and is in excellent condition. There are several variances in the glaze that occurred at the factory, and one little stray glob of glazed clay on the left side. Please see pics. There are a couple of stains on the bottom of the interior. There are no cracks in the piece as a whole, but the edge of the lid has a couple of small chips. Please see pics!
