Brande, who has a few surprises in his will. I am not a comics grader, but I try to be as thorough as possible when assessing books for any flaws. I don't believe in using a number grade system - to me they are mostly utilized as a method to be ambiguous about exact condition and/or individual imperfections - but I do attempt to describe anything other than minor cover shelf-scuffing/scratching in detail. If a certain flaw discussed below does not mention that it affects inside pages, then it does not. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This copy is in good overall condition, with a solid spine and very good to great inside pages (photo#14 example). It does have some signs of wear including one medium sized corner indent, but otherwise primarily lighter and smaller flaws, all of which affect mainly the book's externals. **Photo#3:-Spine edge: 2 small indents around its middle, they show as indents/depressions on the front/back covers at it. **Photo#4: -Upper spine corner: Ding that causes the book's main flaw - a ~2" indent, ~1/2" indent, and ~1" crease around the corner on the front cover (photo#10 w/illumination), and a ~1" crease and indent around it on the back (photo#11 w/illumination). **Photo#5:-Lower spine corner: Light scuffing. Light ~1/2" indent around corner on the front cover. **Photo#6: -Front cover top edge: Tiny scuff near its middle, otherwise light if any shelf-wear/scuffing.-Outer corner: Small scuff/bend, goes thru ~1/5 pages as a light bend. **Photo#7:-Front cover bottom edge: Light shelf-scuffing/wear along it.-Outer corner: Small crease/scuff/bend, goes thru most pages as a light bend. **Photo#8: -Back cover top edge: Light if any shelf-scuffing/wear, with a light ~3/4" cover indent towards outer corner.-Outer corner: Tiny scuff/bend, goes thru ~10 pages lightly. **Photo#9:-Back cover bottom edge: Light shelf-scuffing/wear, if any.-Outer corner: Small indent/scuff/bend, shows on ~1/4 pages as a light indent. **Additionally: Front cover's page edge has a tiny scuff near its middle, shows lightly on ~4 pages. Cover itself possesses two light ~2" horizontal depressions adjacent the spine edge towards the lower spine corner, and two very light vertical depressions spanning half of its height (photo#12 w/illumination). Two ~1" scratches near bottom edge, with a surrounding patch of smaller/lighter scratches, and another small patch near the cover's center. Back cover has a light ~1.5" horizontal depression adjacent the page edge (photo#13 w/illumination). ~15 mostly small creases/indents/depressions spread around the cover's center (also photo#13), ~7 show as light indents on pages. Book has a light vertical flex/bend near the page edge. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I both buy to read as well as sell TPBs on here, so I understand how aggravating it is to receive a comic damaged in transit.
