Description: Superb Shreve & Co Sterling Silver Floral Scroll 10x7 Oval Picture Frame Presented is a fantastic quality sterling silver picture frame by Shreve & Co. The frame is beautifully adorned with acid cut engraving of floral and scroll designs, very ornate and attractive. At the bottom of the frame, at the 6 o'clock position, is a monogram of KCF in elegantly interwoven script. This monogram is so decorative it is difficult to distinguish from the rest of the designs. The back of the frame and the stand are upholstered with green velvet. The frame is in great overall condition. The details of the designs are nice and crisp. The glass is in great shape. The stand functions well and props the frame up nicely. The velvet on the fold out flap of the stand is mostly worn through to the fabric underneath. There are no breaks, no monogram removals, and no repairs. Any black you see in the photos is merely reflections that are hard to avoid when photographing shiny silver, and do not represent damages or problems of any sort. This piece is stamped with the Shreve & Co maker's mark as well as the company name spelled out and sterling. The frame stands 13 inches tall when the stand is fully extended. The raw measurements of the mirror when the stand is folded up and the mirror is laying down is 14 by 10 inches.
