Description: Here we have a wonderful, extremely decorative hand crafted wooden dish/bowl. I have researched this thoroughly and have been unable to find out any information regarding the maker but I purchased this because of its wonderful "Adzed" textured finish which is reminiscent of infamous craftsman Robert "Mouseman" Thompson. This is not by R.T. but it is very similar in nature - so like me, I'm sure if you are a fan of him you will also like this piece too. It measures approximately 17 inches by 5.5 inches by 1.75 inches. I am unsure of it's original use or if it was purely a decorative piece. The photos don't do this justice. It has a tremendous style to it, the shape is quite fish like which I love and its unusual trails to either end. I would imagine this dates to somewhere around the 1970's. This is a perfect piece for an interior designer looking to create that rustic or farmhouse feel in a kitchen or living room. Could be used as a platter of an evening with some cheese & crackers, a place to store your keys, for pot pourri - do with it what you like. This is the only one on eBay of course so get it while you can!
