Machine has a 2 speed control and double threaded locking stitch like any full size machine. Gray and white machine comes with extra bobbins, threader and needle. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of sewing this little machine does. Smooth even stitches. It feeds thread from an upper bobbin instead of a spool. Threading is a little different. I googled the instructions and found a very good video of how to operate this mini sewer. For its size it has a generous open fabric pass through. The box has been been torn up a little, as seen in photos.
