Sunbeam Alpine Interior Center Console Black w/ Lid & Lock /Latch Non-OE Upholst

Description: Sunbeam Alpine Interior Console(Non-Original Upholstery) Sunbeam console removed from an Alpine Series IV parts car. This style of console was used on Series III, IV and V Alpines. Includes lid, and lock / latch assembly. There is an old key (along with a second key seized inside of what looks like a very corroded old door lock) - I can get the key into the console lock all the way, but it doesn't seem to turn the lock at all. The lock is currently unlocked, and the lid / door piece opens freely with its hinges.Metal seems solid with surface rust throughout and a slight bit of bubbling on the front panel (see closeup photo), but no rust-through issues that I can see. The vinyl on the sides is original, with a couple of tiny tears but mostly intact. Vinyl on the lid and top side of the console is aftermarket, with more of a grained texture than original (I think the lid also has more padding than original). It looks decent and was done fairly recently (the parts car was someone's abandoned amateur restoration project), but is definitely not factory correct.
