Stunning vintage NATURAL DIAMOND trilogy ring 14k yellow gold size 6.5 romantic

The ring is size 6.5 US / size M UK. 3.66 grams. .7 tcw. The inside of the ring has been altered to have a thin piece of gold that sticks out slightly (pictured). This is traditionally something used for those with a larger knuckle/ thinner finger to be able to get the ring over their knuckle and still have it fit their finger. Great for any who have thinner fingers or arthritis etc. it is still sized accurately so if you don’t have that need, ring functions as normal for you. To prepare this ring for sale I have had all the prongs checked and retipped by my jeweler. This secures the diamonds as years of wear in vintage and antique jewelry can rub the prongs down to the point where the gemstones are no longer secure and fall out (usually gone for good as this often is discovered too late) if not “retipped” - more of the original metal in the same purity is added to the prongs and shaped to hold the gemstones back in place. This is usually a very costly expense and is a concern for all vintage and antique gemstones in prong settings.
