Description: This is a Trophy Tom I personally shot. He’s at least a 5 year old bird, he’s a one spur Tom that I had seen when he was a Jake and two years later as a Tom. The next time I saw him was when I shot him, he was beating up on a few Jakes. I didn’t get a chance to glass him he showed up quick! I couldn’t believe it was old one spur when I picked him up. He measured approximately 48 inches in length from tip of beak to end of tail. I harvested him on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. I had him mounted by one of the best and most award winning taxidermy shops on the East Coast. Mr. Parker only accepts a certain number for mounting each year, I lucked out and got in. The wait was close to two years due to Covid backups. They did a superb job and he’s on a really nice realistic base as well in full strut position. I’m only selling due to some medical reasons. The turkey is a newer mount, I got him back from them in early 2023 I believe. He would make a great addition to any collection, cabin, lodge or rustic business.
