Description: Incredible. Not many flaws to point out. I do not think these are the original thimbles. One is not Sterling. That’s about the extent odds the issues. Now on to the good great incredible. The outside of the egg has the richest deepest patina. It makes the green stones (untested) pop. Even more special is the bright glow from the gold gilt when you open it up. Someone has scratched XXXVI several times in the interior. I do not believe this was made in 1936. Its style is much older and Ugo Frilli’s work is usually from the late Victorian or Edwardian time period. Perhaps it is a model number? A present for a 36th birthday? The year it was given to someone? Marked 925 and U Frilli on the rim. Just an incredibly special special piece.
