Description: The Studebaker Company was incorporated in 1852, in South Bend, Indiana. They originally made wagons, buggies, harnesses, and carriages. The brothers Studebaker, in their blacksmith shop, made wagons etc. for the U.S. Army during the Civil War. In 1963, the South Bend plant closed and production was moved to Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, and ended the production of the Hawk, Avanti, and the truck. Only the Lark was produced in Canada for another 3 years. Over the decades, Coca Cola has produced thousands of commemorative bottles. Each one celebrates wonderful events in our lives. The Coca Cola celebrates the 19th International Meet of the Studebaker Drivers Club, in South Bend, Indiana. The meet was in July of 1983, 36 years ago. Today, over 15.000 people celebrate the Studebaker in different clubs, all over the country. This bottle was made by the Coca Cola Bottling Company of South Bend. The bottle is a 10 oz ACL bottle.
