He appeared on stage for 40 years, collapsing on stage at his final performance only days before his death. For twenty years he formed a comedy team with William Henry Crane; they were especially popular as The Two Dromios in Shakespeare's A Comedy of Errors. This photo was owned by Martha Waldron Barron, stage actress in the early 1900s. Her father was Clarence W.
