The information paper explains the history of the design, which is "an adaptation from textiles on display at the Smithsonian American Art Museum, from textile designer, artist, writer and socialist William Morris." William Morris is famous for his designs during the Arts and Crafts Period. The age of this item is not known. Condition The pin looks great overall, with no chips or cracks to the enamel.
