Description: Travel back in time with this Stradivarius copy violin. With a 14'' body and 23-1/2'' scale length, it is a 4/4, full-size violin. No maker marks or inside label. Bird's Eye maple two-piece back and sides. Flamed maple neck. Four fine tuners. The tailpiece has an unusual design that may be molded from black Bakelite, but I'm not certain. Spruce top with good straight grain lines. Cosmetically, it looks great. There are hardly any scuffs, scrapes, or scratches. It is very clean. Functionally, it works. The bow is marked SCHROETTER. It comes in an old case. The handle, latches, and hinges still work. Questions? It will be well packed with plenty of new 1/2" bubble wrap and shipped in a new 32"x19"x7" stout cardboard instrument box.
