Description: Steven Holl Patinated Bronze Candlestick for Swid Powell - Postmodern Memphis. Very rare - circa 1987. High-quality bronze candlestick by world-renowned, modern architect Steven Holl. Postmodern design. Uprights have a backwards curve towards the top - not sure if this was a part of the original design but most others I've seen available have curved columns and I think it adds grace to the piece. It looks straight from the front but arches to the back. The top and bottom plates are parallel. Some wear mainly at the top of the vertical columns and a bit on one of the lower ones but mostly in very nice condition. There is some wax indicating it was used a time or two but not much. The patina is beautiful. It weighs just over 3lbs. It is 16" tall and the base measures 2.75" x 4.75". Payment: Payment is due immediately with buy it now. Paypal only is accepted.
