Description: Sterlingwear Vintage Men’s Black 100% Wool US Navy Peacoat 40L USA Rank Division This vintage US Navy Pea Coat is in excellent condition! This coat features 7 front buttons and one inner button. It is made of 100% wool and has the officers rank and naval division on the left sleeve. This is a truly special coat that is heavyweight, and lined for cold weather. Inside the coat’s inside pocket is a tag that shows the officers name, service number, the type of coat (Men’s Overcoat), enlisted, 100% wool, and the number of the contract, and the contractor’s name: Sterlingwear of Boston, Inc. This coat is a size 40 Long (L), and for reference it fits me perfectly. I am 5’11”, and weigh approximately 180lbs. This is a very high quality garment, and it is in nearly perfect condition. It is a bit wrinkled, but hasn’t been worn (other than for photos) since being dry cleaned. The dry cleaning tags are still on the collar.
