Description: sterling silver mint julep cup by Mark j Scearce-LBJ Presidential stamp. Sterling Silver Mint Julep Presidential Cup from the era of Lyndon B Johnson's presidency. Marked with "Mark J Scearce, Shelbyville, KY," "LBJ" and "Sterling" on the bottom. Each of these cups were stamped with the initials of the President at the time they were produced. The cup is engraved "Jones Howard" on one side and "Your store managers 10-9-68" on the other side. This was a gift to my grandfather Jones Howard from his store managers when he retired (Rexall Drug Pharmacy). This vintage cup is in good condition, with one very tiny ding noted, and some tarnish as well on the inside which can be easily polished with silver polish. There is beading around the lip of the cup and along the bottom rim as seen in the last photo. Size is 3.75" tall, 3" wide.Final Sale, no returns. Free shipping.
