A silver overlay technique was used to create the features on the bear, such as the spirit/breath line and sunburst. The silver base has been artistically hand stamped. The pendant is 2 7/8" wide and 1 7/8" tall. From the top of the bale to the bottom of the pendant is 2 3/8". The opening for the bale is 7/16" wide, which is an excellent width to allow you to wear this with a beaded necklace, Navajo pearls, or a large chain necklace. It weighs a notable 41.2 g. The artist's hallmark is "GS" for Navajo silversmith Glenn Sandoval. This pendant is new old stock, a piece coming from prior store inventory. Previously displayed but not sold.
