For your consideration is this vintage 1960’s collectible miniature SOUVENIR SPOON from the STATE OF TEXAS in the ORIGINAL BOX. Note, I chose to list the spoon as being used only because of its age. THE SPOON HAS NEVER BEEN USED and remains in MINT CONDITION. This is an authentic vintage 50+ year old cross-over collectible that will appeal to both souvenir travel-destination spoon collectors and nostalgic Stuckey’s Store memorabilia collectors. This spoon was sold by STUCKEY’S roadway stores that were prevalent and common rest stops destinations for weary travelers back in the day. Again, this spoon has NEVER BEEN REMOVED from the original box that still retains the STUCKEY’S price sticker showing the MSRP of $1.19. The spoon is made out of a non-precious silver-colored metal and together inside the box weighs approximately 2.0 ounces. The overall length of the spoon measures approximately 3-7/16" long. The bowl of the spoon is approximately 1.0” long and .75” wide. The original two-piece box the spoon came inside has outside measurements of approximately 5.0” in length, 1.25” in width and .75” height. Refer to description photos #10, #11, #12 and #13 to confirm the size dimensions and for more details about what I have described. The end (or top) of the spoon handle features a decorative image of a “cowboy atop a bucking bronco” and the state name of “TEXAS” in capital letters. Refer to description photo #6 for more details about what I have described. This vintage 1960’s souvenir travel-destination spoon is well over 50 years old. The original two-piece box the spoon came in remains in good condition. As can be confirmed in the description photos, the box has no damage. The aforementioned notwithstanding, the clear plastic top has yellowed a little with age. The actual spoon itself remains in excellent like new condition as can be verified in description photos #5, #6 and #7 and will display wonderfully among your other collectible souvenir spoons.
