Back in the 1970's Estes created the "Zaniest Flying Freaks in the Universe" the Goonybirds - these oddball rocket kits were a huge hit in the Mad Magazine era. Bad Boy Rocketry is bringing them back with laser-cut fins and fresh decals to revive these classics. This is a clone of the Goony Bird - The Star Snoop. This oddball flying eyeball was described in the catalog as having an "eyeball design, with scalloped fins"... which earns it the most boring description for a Goonybird... The Star Snoop is probably the easiest Goony Bird to build, but one of the hardest to paint since the eyeball is hand painted. A good paint job on this rocket looks really great though. This kit comes complete with all parts to build the model including a parachute. A link is included in the kit of where you can download the instructions which include the tube marking guide and shock cord mount. Completed model is approximately 8 inches long and flies on mini engines. A bit of clay in the nose doesn't hurt either... Thanks for looking.
