First and last flyleaf has what I believe is an original purple-colored stamp, "JOIN S.P.P.A. Help...Perpetuate Rare Fowl". The SPPA stands for "Society for the Preservation of Poultry/Antiques." Copyright page has what I believe is an original orange sticker reading, "Stromberg's Pets Unlimited, Box 717 Phone 578-0322, Fort Dodge, Iowa 50501". The artists, whose names are often buried or hard to read are found in the "In Tribute": "Foremost on the wide staircase of immortal Standard Makers. The figure of Arthur O. Schilling, artist and writer, looms in the minds eye. Ranged about him, and up the stairs are such great contributors as George Robertson, Franklane L. Sewall, Louis Paul Graham, I. W.
