The nickel silver 7/8" tall oval medal has St Jude on one side and St Raphael the Archangel on the other. The 1-1/2" silver-toned St Benedict crucifix and the medal were made in Italy. The rosary itself was handmade in the USA by me.All eleven beads are 8mm, smooth, round, natural, genuine semi-precious gemstones. The single Our Father bead is a Blue Adventurine. The ten Hail Mary beads are alternating Tree Agate and Autumn Jasper. About 10" long, comes gift boxed and with a gift bag, tissue paper, a St Jude prayer card, St Raphael prayer card, St Benedict prayer card, 15 Promises of Mary card, Rosary and Divine Mercy pamphlets, and a carry pouch. St Jude Thaddeus was one of the twelve original apostles and was related to Jesus, probably a cousin. He is frequently shown holding a medal or plaque to his chest on which is an image of Jesus. He is the patron of hospitals, hopeless or impossible causes and desperate situations. St Raphael is the Archangel is one of the main characters in the saga of young Tobias which can be found in the Old Testament (Book of Tobit). It's a great story of family love, miraculous healing, romance and even has a dog accompanying the travelers! St Raphael is the patron saint of the sick, blind people, nightmares, happy meetings, friendships, romanitc couples, nurses, doctors and travelers.
