Description: St. Paul, MINNESOTA - Germania Insurance - Manhattan Office Buildings: The Manhattan Building (also known as the Capital Bank Building the Empire Building) is a historic office and banking building located at 360 North Robert Street in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The seven-story plus basement, Renaissance Revival style building was designed by Clarence H. Johnston, Sr. in 1889 and built in 1890. The exterior consists of Jacobsville Sandstone and pressed brick. The building stands at a height of 117 feet tall. The Germania Bank Building is an 1889 Richardsonian Romanesque office tower in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States, built of sandstone, designed by J. Walter Stevens and draftsman Harvey Ellis. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This Divided Back Era (1907-15) postcard shows edge wear and some soiling; otherwise the card is in good condition. Published by Tony Cheaka.
